Our local Farmers Market is one of the best in the country. The proximity of farms that grow products year round bring an ever changing abundance and variety of seasonal fruits and vegetable. We are in "fall mode" now so there are lots of squashes, peppers, apples. Yet, there are still tomatoes, berries of all sorts, baby lettuces, asparagus, artichokes. This is truly a chef's paradise. There were even local ridgeback shrimp at the market that I am going to use as a snack at a cooking class my wife and I are doing at the Roblar Winery.
