This past week Noah's Anchorage held a fundraiser in Santa Barbara. Noah's Anchorage is a program from the local YMCA that assists youth. Local chef Vincent Vanhecke organized the event that features some 18 chefs and twenty students and faculty from the local city college's culinary program. We needed all those hads as we had 1,400 canapes to serve and 1820 food items to plate.
The evening was a great success and help raise much needed funds for the Noah's Anchorage Youth Crisis Shelter. Many thanks to my fellow culinarians for their generosity and talents.
